New Location, new pals, & new coworkers 🙂

Firstly, despite the growing IT industry in Pakistan, I realized that the opportunities for growth and development in my field were limited. I had reached a plateau in my career and felt that I needed to challenge myself and expand my horizons to continue growing professionally.

Europe offered a much more developed and advanced IT industry with higher salaries and better working conditions, as the tech industry in Europe is booming, with companies like Google, Facebook, and Amazon expanding their operations in the region, creating new jobs, and providing higher salaries, which were appealing to me.

Secondly, I wanted to expose myself to new cultures, perspectives, and ideas. I wanted to experience different ways of working, learn new approaches to management, and explore different aspects of the IT industry. European countries like Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Spain, Portugal, Norway, and the Sweden are known for their quality education and research facilities.

This can provide IT experts with a chance to enhance and showcase their skills, experience, and knowledge, moving to Europe provided me with an opportunity to broaden my horizons and develop new skills, to enhance personal growth and development. which I could not have achieved in Pakistan.

Moreover, I wanted to give my children access to better education, healthcare, well-developed legal systems, and public services. European countries offer world-class education systems, which can provide a solid foundation for my children’s future. Additionally, the healthcare and public services in Europe are well-developed, providing a secure and comfortable environment for my family.

Another important consideration was the political and economic stability of Europe. Europe is known for its stable governments, well-developed legal systems, and advanced economies, which can provide a secure and stable environment for my family and me.

In conclusion, leaving own country and moving to Europe was a difficult decision, but it was the right decision for me and my family. The opportunities for personal and professional growth, exposure to new cultures and perspectives, access to better education and healthcare, and political and economic stability were some of the factors that motivated me to make this move. While it was a challenging transition, I am grateful for the experience and the new opportunities it has provided.
